Recycle FIBC
Sustainable Packaging Starts with Responsible Recycle
At Wiharta, sustainability is not a slogan—it’s a responsibility. We recognize the growing need for eco-conscious industrial practices, especially in the use of Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers (FIBCs). Through our Repair and Recycle FIBC initiative, we help businesses extend the lifecycle of their packaging, reduce waste, and contribute to a circular economy.

Why Recycle FIBC?
FIBCs, or jumbo bags, are often used once and discarded—adding to industrial waste. At Wiharta, we challenge this mindset by offering repair and recycling options that are safe, cost-effective, and environmentally responsible.
By recycling FIBCs, your business can:
- Significantly reduce single-use plastic waste
- Lower operational costs over time
- Contribute to your company’s ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) goals
- Support responsible supply chains and improve brand image

FIBC Repair and Recycle
We work closely with trusted reparation and recycle partners who meet both local and international standards for waste handling. To ensure the safety and quality of our packaging, certain types of packaging can be repaired. Our process follows three core steps:
Inspection & Sorting
Each returned bag undergoes a thorough visual and physical inspection to assess its condition, ensuring the bags are suitable for either repair or recycle.
Cleaning & Repair
Bags that meet quality thresholds but require minor maintenance are carefully cleaned and repaired to restore them for continued industrial use.
Reprocessing & Recycling
Bags that are no longer fit for use are processed by trusted partners, where materials are safely broken down into usable polypropylene products.
